On my week off in between the MassMatiks tour and Otherkin tour I was able to catch Leeds friends Marsicans at The Bodega while they are on tour with Natives. It had been a while since I had last seen the lads, to be exact it was back in January when they toured with Hippo Campus down in Bristol.
I got down to The Bodega at about 5pm where I was able to catch the last bit of the boys soundcheck then properly catch up with them and hear what has happened in the months I hadn't seen them. Once the story telling was finished my professional head went on and we headed round the venue to do some portraits before their set.
After our portraits the lads bounded on stage and as always gave it 100% to a crowd which after the first couple of songs started to get dancing and were enjoying themselves. Absence the final track was the icing on the cake for this show as the crowd sang and danced all the way through with the band.
